COASTAL Comedy returns to Lighthouse, Poole’s centre for the arts, on Saturday, March 14 from 8pm with another trio of top stand up comedians compered by local comic Adrienne Coles in the intimate surroundings of The Sherling Studio.

Headlining this month is Bobby Mair, a Canadian stand-up comedian based in London, who TV audiences will recognise from the reality sitcom Bobby and Harriet Get Married and Comedy Central’s Roast Battle.

Opening the show is funny man Pete Philipson who has been building a name for himself on the circuit as a fantastically talented act over the last few years, mixing fast paced observations and routines with wonderful characterisations. Pete commands a variety of accents, wears his comedy heart on his sleeve and leaves the audience in hysterics at his misfortunes and frustrations with the minutiae of everyday life.

Also appearing, Simon Lomas is one of the best newcomers on the circuit and was nominated for both the Chortle Awards Best Newcomer and Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year.

Any attempt to describe what he does will ruin the fun – just trust us and enjoy!
