THE BOURNEMOUTH Banshees Quidditch Club is calling on people of all ages to dust off their broomsticks and visit their special fundraiser this Sunday to help raise life-changing funds for Sport Relief.

They are inviting people of all ages to take part in their free taster session, regardless of whether you're a Beater, Keeper, Chaser, Seeker or Snitch.

Attendees will be able to find out more about this unique sport and try their hand at some of the basics.

Sport clothes and trainers are required to be worn, and any spare change for Sport Relief would be greatly received.

President of the Bournemouth Banshees, William Aizlewood said: "The whole team cannot wait to get our kit on and teach some Quidditch skills on behalf of Sport Relief.

"We’re incredibly passionate about our sport and would love for university students in Bournemouth and anyone looking to try out a fun, mix-gendered sport to come down and get involved. The taster session is completely free, but please don’t forget those all-important pennies for Sport Relief."

Join in the fun on February 23 from 12pm-3pm at Slades Farm, Bournemouth.
