Firefighters responded to the incident Picture: WEYMOUTH FIRE STATION
Two teams of firefighters were sent to reports of a flat fire in Weymouth in the early hours of this morning.
Crews from the Weymouth and Portland stations attended Berkshire Close, where there had been reports of a smell of burning, at about 12.50am.
A fire was found in the lounge of a first floor flat and was extinguished by the firefighters, using two hose reel jets.
