FIREFIGHTING teams fought to keep a house fire under control.
Two crews from Sherborne were called to the blaze yesterday at 2.07pm, along with Wincanton Fire Station, to a domestic property fire over the border at Templecombe, Somerset.
A spokesman for Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "Two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus using a hose reel jet and thermal imaging camera have extinguished a fire in an electrical air conditioning unit.
"Due to the property being fitted with smoke detectors, the 999 call was made early preventing further damage."
