POLICE have arrested a man from Milford-on-Sea after a woman was raped at Westquay Shopping Centre in Southampton.
Officers investigating the rape of a 21-year-old woman say have arrested a 20-year-old man.
Officers were called to reports of an assault at 8am on Saturday, February 15.
Police closed off an area to the right of the main entrance to John Lewis off Harbour Parade.
A police van was parked up on the pavement and blue tape was in place, which was removed on Sunday morning.
The woman is being supported by specialist officers.
The 20-year-old man remains in police custody.
