A MAN has set up a ‘group bike’ business in Bournemouth.
Marcin Wasilewski, 35, has founded the Bourne 2 Cycle company which gives people the opportunity to cycle through Bournemouth on a specially-adapted ‘Beer Bike’ which can accommodate up to a dozen people.
Mr Wasilewski said: “Eight people are pedalling and another four are sitting and it is a set route.
“We go from East Overcliff, go towards Old Christchurch Road, to Christchurch Road and back to the sea front, that is basically the route.
“It costs £25 per person for a 90-minute route. You can bring your own drink. We are thinking of doing things like treasure hunts of pub crawls. The limit is our imagination.”
Mr Wasilewski said they completed a trial run in Valencia and the bike should arrive at the end of February, with the opening on March 7.
