ARTS by the Sea Festival is calling for people to submit their photos of previous festivals for a special online anniversary gallery.

The festival which celebrates arts and culture in Bournemouth, marks its 10th anniversary this year when it will be held from Friday, September 25 to Sunday, September 27.

Festival goers who have attended any of the events over the past 10 years are invited to visit the official Arts by the Sea website (www.artsbythesea.co.uk) where they can upload their favourite moments in photo form.

Arts by the Sea will be held in various indoor and outdoor spaces across Bournemouth’s beautiful locations.

Although the programme for the 10th anniversary is still under wraps, the theme will be 'Journeys'.

The theme celebrates a decade-long journey of bringing the festival to the people of Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole and bringing artists and audiences together.

Visitors can expect to witness and participate in another year of intriguing, exciting and unique carnivalesque celebration of art, across many forms, and most of it is free to attend.

With more than 100 performances, workshops and exhibitions, and an anticipated crowd of more than 100,000 people, Arts by the Sea 2020 is set to be another exhilarating year of art and culture offering depth, insight and excitement.

Arts by the Sea aims to include as many photos as possible from its past visitors in the online gallery to showcase their many unique experiences. Whether photos depict personal viewpoints of the many installations, loved ones getting roped into street theatre performances, or Bournemouth looking at its magical best, the festival welcomes them all.

Those wishing to get involved can also use the hashtag #10yearsABTS to share their images on Twitter. Arts by the Sea will share as many as possible from now until the event.
