A MAN is due to appear in the dock today after a tradesman's van was allegedly raided and his wallet stolen.

As reported, police had called for information after a works van parked in Tregonwell Road, Bournemouth was allegedly broken into between 2pm and 3pm on Monday, December 30 last year.

Just before 3.25pm on the same day, the complainant's card was allegedly used in a nearby shop to buy tobacco worth £47.

A 45-year-old man has now been charged with handling stolen goods and fraud.

He is due to appear at Poole Magistrates' Court today, Friday.
