A SCHOOLBOY on a bicycle was involved in a collision with a car this afternoon.
Police and paramedics were called to the B3074 High Blandford Road at the junction with Widworthy Drive after a collision just before 3.20pm.
The scene of the crash is close to Corfe Hills School.
Initial reports suggested the air ambulance had landed. However, it is currently not believed the youngster has suffered injuries deemed to be either life-threatening or life-changing.
A spokesperson for the South Western Ambulance Service said: "We were called at 3.15pm about a collision reportedly involving a car and pushbike.
"One patient is being treated by one of our ambulance crews."
The road was blocked. It is now reportedly reopen.
