DOG lovers will get the chance to go glamping with their four-legged friends at the second annual Dogstival event.

Following the huge success of last year's event, Dogstival is returning to Pylewell Park near Lymington on May 16 and 17 this year.

And the event is set to be bigger and better than last year with many new features.

The new Dogstival Glamping, in association with Embers Camping, is where guests can enjoy sea views, a pop-up pizza restaurant, cosy canine cuddles by the campfire and proper shower facilities, to maintain a ‘Best in Show’ festival look.

There’s also the option for festival goers to pitch their own tents, with special passes and a separate entrance allowing camping guests to pop out to explore the New Forest, in addition to everything Dogstival has to offer.

Another feature is the K9 Health & Wellbeing Tent where TV’s Vet on the Hill Scott Miller will share his bountiful knowledge on all manner of pet care subjects such as looking after a puppy, senior dog care, first aid and tips for certain breeds, as well as talks from physios and food and nutrition experts.

Other features of Dogstival will include the Dog Pub, which will serve dog-appropriate refreshments and snacks and a host of fun new Instagram Features that will be introduced throughout Pylewell estate.

Visitors will also be able to enjoy the K9 Chill Out Zone, the popular main arena – which will feature displays and shows from traditional working, therapy and assistance dogs from leading UK teams – and a second arena hosted by BBC’s Barking Hour presenter Anna Webb, which will showcase rare breeds.

There will also be the Doghouse Behavioural Stage, the K9 Aqua Sports Pool, a chance to have a go at agility, around 200 quality stalls, artisan food and drink and a vintage fairground with Ferris Wheel.

Dogstival will take place from 10am to 6pm on Saturday and Sunday May 16 and 17 at Pylewell Park, Lymington, Hampshire, SO41 5SJ. Tickets are priced at £13.90 for Adults, £8 Children aged 5-16 years and under fives go free. They are on sale now at Dogstival.co.uk. Camping starts from £20 per person per night.
