POLICE are calling for anyone pictured in these CCTV images to come forward after an alleged attack at a Boscombe pool bar.
As reported, a man in his 60s sustained "possibly life-threatening injuries" during an incident outside Bar 7 in Christchurch Road at the weekend.
Officers were called to the bar by paramedics at 8.50pm on Saturday, January 25 after the man was found badly hurt in a doorway near the venue.
It is alleged that the man had become involved in a row inside the bar at around 7.30pm that night. He was then reportedly assaulted outside.
Doctors initially believed there was a danger to the man's life. His injuries are now described as 'serious', and he remains in hospital.
A 56-year-old Bournemouth man was arrested in connection with the incident and charged with inflicting grievous bodily harm with intent.
Detective Constable Steph Ashworth, of Bournemouth CID, released CCTV images of some witnesses she wants to track down this afternoon.
She said: “We are keen to speak to the people pictured as they may have information to assist our investigation.
“I would like to make it very clear that we are looking to speak to these individuals purely as witnesses and I would urge them, or anyone with information as to their identity, to come forward.
“We would also like to speak to a man who we understand gave first aid before the ambulance arrived at around 8.55pm.”
Anyone with information is asked to contact Dorset Police via dorset.police.uk or by calling 101, quoting occurrence number 55200012784.
