PUBLIC toilets at Poole Park will shut for six weeks for refurbishment work, council officials say.

Next Monday – February 3 – the conveniences at the west gate will shut to allow for all the toilets, cubicles and lighting to be replaced. The block will also be redecorated and external repairs will be carried out.

A spokesperson from BCP Council said: “The toilets are likely to be closed for six weeks whilst the work is completed.

“Portable toilets will be available and visitors can also use nearby toilets at The Ark, which will be open between 10am and 6pm seven days a week.

“The refurbishments form part of funding allocated to improve public toilets in Poole, which have already seen a previously closed block on Poole Quay reopened in October last year.”
