A DRINK driver who ploughed into three parked cars before her Hyundai Tucson flipped onto its roof has been banned from driving for three years.

Sarah Harris, 47, was arrested after the crash at the junction of Dorchester Road and Johnston Road, Poole on November 12 last year.

Last week, Harris, of Perry Gardens in Poole, appeared before magistrates to admit drink-driving before the crash.

The court heard she had 62 micrograms of alcohol in breath after the collision. The limit is 35 micrograms.

Harrison also admitted driving a vehicle without insurance and failing to stop after hitting a silver Ford Focus, a white Peugeot 107 and a grey Vauxhall Corsa just after 1pm.

Oakdale Road was closed for several hours after the crash.

In addition to the driving ban, Harris was made the subject of a community order, under which she must comply with a 20-day rehabilitation activity requirement, as well as £200 in fines and a £90 surcharge.
