A MAN has been charged with carving an obscenity into a door in Southbourne.
Marcus Jarvis, who is of no fixed abode, appeared at Poole Magistrates' Court on Saturday after the alleged incident.
The 30-year-old is charged with stalking a woman on dates between January 20 and 24 by throwing food at her when denied access to her home, carving an obscenity into her front door and continuing to message her when contact wasn't wanted.
He is also charged with the lesser charge of harassment in relation to the allegations, as well as possessing a folding knife, the blade of which exceeded three inches, in Seabourne Road on January 24, and assaulting a person by beating her in Southbourne on December 1 2019.
Jarvis was remanded into custody ahead of a further hearing at the magistrates court this week.
