A YOUNG man attacked a doctor at the Royal Bournemouth Hospital during a spree of violent assaults.
Benjamin James Jacobs, of Parkstone Heights in Poole, carried out a series of offences after partying at Bar So on November 16 last year.
The 20-year-old already holds a conviction for assaulting a PC.
Last week, he appeared at Poole Magistrates' Court to admit two counts of assaulting a man by beating him at the bar in Exeter Road, as well as two counts of assaulting emergency workers by beating them at RBH.
Jacobs assaulted a PC and a doctor during the incident.
He also admitted a further count of the commission of another offence while subject to a conditional discharge order for a period of 18 months for threatening behaviour and the previous assault on a police officer.
Magistrates adjourned his sentence to allow a pre-sentence report to be prepared.
The defendant will return to the court in February.
