IF Jeremy Corbyn has his way, John 'Squeaker' Bercow, the little man who occupied a chair that was far too big for him for 10 years, and abused his powers at every turn to thwart the will of the people, will be elevated to the Peerage.
Hopefully any attempt to ennoble this most undeserving of men will be blocked by the Prime Minister.
If it isn't it will be a slap in the face to us all.
If anyone deserves to be honoured it is the man who has been the driving force behind the twenty-year-long fight for the independence and freedom from Brussels that will be ours at the stroke of 11pm on January 31 – Nigel Farage.
Farage is worth a thousand Bercows.
