HOUSE prices in Poole and Bournemouth dropped more than the average for the South West in November, new figures show.
The drop contributes to the longer-term trend, which has seen property prices in Poole suffer a 4.4 per cent annual decline and those in Bournemouth fall 2.1 per cent.
The average house price in Poole is now £300,583 with the figure for Bournemouth standing at £245,433.
Owners of terraced houses fared worst, followed by flats.
The most expensive properties in the South West were in the Cotswolds – £388,000 on average and the least expensive were in Plymouth.
The highest property prices across the UK were in Kensington and Chelsea, where the average November sale price of £1.2 million could buy 14 properties in Burnley with an average of just£84,000.
