PAULTONS Park is set to recruit hundreds of people in time for summer.

The popular attraction, which is home to Peppa Pig World, is looking to fill 250 seasonal jobs in the late spring and early summer where full-time and part-time roles will be on offer on weekdays and weekends.

It is set to employ around 50 people for when the park opens for the 2020 season on February 15.

Some of the responsibilities new employees will be tasked with include ride operation, welcoming guests, handling food and drink and working in retail.

Head of HR at Paultons Park, Darren Vann, said: "We are welcoming applications from a broad range of applicants, such as college and university students, returners to the workplace, or those looking for a change of pace.

"Experience in the leisure and theme park industry isn’t necessary; we’re looking for friendly and enthusiastic people who enjoy working in teams and with the public.

“Paultons Park is an exciting and genuinely fun place to work."

He added: "We offer a high level of flexibility around existing personal commitments, such as family or study time.

"Many of our seasonal workers come back to us year after year – some have been with us for over ten years.

"We can also offer opportunities for those who decide to move on from seasonal work to forge a career in the leisure industry.”

Applicants who are 16-years-old and older are being encouraged to apply.

Employees also benefit from competitive pay rates, free car parking, staff discounts, complimentary park tickets as well as subsidised food and free drinks.

The theme park boasts over 70 rides and attractions and is due to launch more this spring.

It has also has won the TripAdvisor Awards for best UK theme park for four years running.
