CCTV images have been released after a debit card was stolen from a van and then used in Bournemouth.

A wallet and DeWalt drill were stolen from the van in Tregonwell Road sometime between 2pm and 3pm on Monday, December 30, 2019.

At 3.24pm the same day, the victim’s card was used separately by two men in a nearby shop.

Police said they used contactless payments to buy tobacco totalling £47.

The men then left the store and walked up St Michael’s Road, towards the West Cliff area.

Police Community Support Investigator David Singleton, of Bournemouth Police, said: “Following enquiries into this incident, I have obtained CCTV images of two men I would like to speak to.

“I would urge anyone with information about their identity to please get in touch.”
