POLICE have arrested a man following a stabbing in Bournemouth town centre.
A man in his 20s suffered stab wounds to his back during an altercation involving a group of people at the junction of Old Christchurch Road and Lorne Park Road at around 5am on Saturday December 28.
The victim was taken to hospital for treatment to injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.
Following a CCTV appeal and enquiries by detectives, a 20-year-old Bournemouth man was arrested on suspicion of inflicting grievous bodily harm with intent. He has been released under investigation as officers continue to make enquiries.
