Police have released an image of a man after an assault at the Rising Sun in Wimborne in November 2019
A MAN was headbutted and punched after he intervened in a brawl at a Wimborne pub, police say.
Officers investigating the incident at the Rising Sun in East Street have now released an image of a man they want to talk to.
The man, who is in his 50s, was hurt after he intervened in a fight between two groups of people at around 12.25am on Saturday, November 9 last year.
He was attacked later that night and suffered injuries to his cheek and nose.
PC Cameron Thompson, of Wimborne police, urged anyone who knows the man in the image to contact him via dorset.police.uk or by calling 101, quoting occurrence number 55190179957.
