A GIN bar which has had £60,000 invested in transforming it into a “stunning bar and restaurant” is up for sale.

Ginjams, in Westbourne, began operating as a bar in March 2018, and the owners have now decided to sell.

The leasehold is on offer for £95,000 and, as of 2019, had six years left.

Estate agents Hilton Smythe said the bar had a turnover of £133,500 in 2019, and a gross profit of £50,000.

The estate agents say: “The passion for the space is clear to see in the decor.

“The business has a great rear courtyard space for outdoor use. Also, customers are allowed to sit outside the front of the premises under the canopy.

“Ginjams hosts a very cosy atmosphere, with a choice of low relaxed seating areas, clear spaces to stand as well as a high number of stools arranged around the bespoke styled bar to promote interaction with the bar team.”

The bar is A4 licensed to be able to sell alcohol.

Included in the sale is 15 tables and 50 chairs on the main floor, booth tables, a sound system, 80 spotlights, air conditioning and a full security alarm and CCTV.

In the bar there are six fridges, a sink, all bar equipment and utensils, gin, cocktail and wine glasses and a rented coffee machine.

There is also a courtyard with astroturf, a chiminea and outdoor seating. In the basement there are multiple fridges and freezers and electric hobs.

Hilton Smythe say the stock value is approximately £10,000.

The premises is approximately 95sqm and the opening hours are currently 6pm till 11pm Monday to Thursday, 12pm till 12.30am on Friday and 12pm till midnight on Saturday.

The business is run and managed by Hilton Smythe’s clients with the help of two full-time staff and ten part time staff.
