FROM drug dealers who target our most vulnerable, to mud on rural roads, residents from communities around the county have different priorities for their police teams.

Every neighbourhood policing team in the county has a list of crimes members of the public want them to focus on.

And while some of those priorities look very different, common themes emerge.

Most areas are concerned about anti-social behaviour. Many residents are worried about drug use and street drinking.

Here's how your neighbourhood shapes up...

Boscombe South

East Cliff, Springbourne and Boscombe:

  • Disrupt county lines networks and criminal exploitation of vulnerable people

Southbourne, Pokesdown and Littledown:

  • Disrupt county lines networks

Bournemouth North

Bearwood:

  • Tackle anti-social behaviour in and around King John Avenue and in the Charter Road play park
  • Establish a community speed watch
  • Tackle the general issue with anti-social behaviour

Charminster and Queen's Park:

  • Deal with begging and street drinking in Charminster Road and the surrounding areas
  • Minimise drug-related issues

Kinson North:

  • Stop large groups of youths causing anti-social behaviour by gathering in parks and being a nuisance
  • Stop doorstep and rogue traders from operating
  • Tackle anti-social behaviour caused by drug use

Kinson South:

  • Protect vulnerable adults from being 'cuckooed' by drugs gangs
  • Tackle ongoing issues with anti-social behaviour and criminal damage at the library

Meyrick and Talbot:

  • Reduce anti-social behaviour and drug problems in Meyrick Park

Moordown:

  • Offer crime prevention advice to residents to stop them from being targeted

Northbourne and Wallisdown:

  • Patrol more frequently at Slades Farm to stop anti-social behaviour
  • Stop people using drugs at Redhill Park

Strouden Park:

  • Support vulnerable people and increase awareness about rogue traders
  • Increase high-visibility patrols

Throop and Muscliff:

  • Conduct high-visibility in the community centre car park

Townsend:

  • Conduct extra patrols to stop anti-social behaviour on the estate

Winton:

  • Tackle begging, street drinking and alcohol-related anti-social behaviour in the street
  • Tackle car crime

Universities team:

  • Ensure noise complaints, burglaries and thefts decrease

Bournemouth South

Bournemouth Central:

  • Tackle anti-social behaviour in the Lower Gardens
  • Disrupt county lines drug dealing in the town centre
  • Safeguard vulnerable victims of crime

Westbourne and West Cliff:

  • Reduce anti-social behaviour
  • Disrupt county lines drug dealing
  • Safeguard vulnerable victims of crime

Poole North

Broadstone and Merley:

  • Crack down on anti-social behaviour and drug use at the cricket pavilion
  • Target those who ride bicycles on pavements and in public spaces
  • Campaigns to affect seasonal crime, including fire risks on heathland

Canford Heath:

  • Tackle anti-social behaviour in Adastral Square, Culliford Crescent, Verity Park, Delish Close and Chaldon Park
  • Engage more with young people
  • Stop those who ride motorbikes on heathland

Creekmoor:

  • Target anti-social behaviour at Creekmoor Ponds
  • Target anti-social behaviour at Northmead House and the neighbourhood centre

Newtown and Branksome:

  • Tackle anti-social behaviour, drug dealing and street drinking in Ashley Road

Rossmore and Alderney:

  • Stop the increase in damage to vehicles parked in the area
  • Reduce anti-social behaviour in the Bourne Valley area

Poole South

Hamworthy:

  • Tackle anti-social behaviour at Turlin Moor
  • Target drug dealing and 'cuckooing' in Blandford Road
  • Campaigns to affect seasonal crime, including fire risks on heathland

Parkstone, Penn Hill and Canford Cliffs:

  • Tackle anti-social behaviour, street drinking and drug use in Alexandra Park
  • Reduce the number of thefts from parked vehicles
  • Tackle the youths who gather and cause anti-social behaviour in Penn Hil, Canford Cliffs, Beach Road and Shore Road

Poole Town and Oakdale:

  • Stop the ongoing problems at Poole's bus station

The Grange:

  • Disrupt drugs use through patrols and speaking to the community
  • Work with local businesses to tackle theft in shopping and industrial areas

Mudeford and Highcliffe:

  • Tackle the spike in burglaries, particularly over Christmas
  • Provide information and reassurance to those who have already been victims of scams, or those who are vulnerable to fraud

Dorset East
