A MOTORBOAT was stolen from Poole Quay last week.
Police have launched an investigation after the Avon tender craft – which has a 15-horsepower Yamaha engine – was taken sometime between 12noon on Christmas Day and 2.30pm on Sunday, December 29.
It had been moored at Fisherman's Dock.
Officers based in Poole Town are also investigating the theft of a green Jamis Commodore bicycle from a property in Thames Street. The bike, which has blue writing on the frame, as well as a locking chain, was taken sometime between 11.45pam and 5pm on Boxing Daty/
A car parked on the driveway of a home in Sterte Road was also broken into on Monday, December 30 at 6.10am.
The thief carried out a messy search. However, it is not believed that anything was stolen from within.
