IT appears that we (AFC Bournemouth) are now doomed to the Championship, but who at the club is responsible for acquiring new players?

During the past few years, there has been at least a team’s worth of bad buys/loans who have hardly contributed to the side, all of whom must have been on big wages. Some of them are still with us. For example, Asmir Begovic, Nathaniel Clyne, Marc Wilson, Diego Rico, Brad Smith, Jordon Ibe, Jack Wilshere, Max Gradel, Jermain Defoe, Dominic Solanke, Lewis Grabban (twice).

Once Nathan Ake was injured, the “faithful” knew there were problems ahead, but purchasing Solanke, Rico etc was disastrous, and then we sell Tyrone Mings, who (with John Terry's help) now plays for England. Lys Mousset, who was never given a chance, now scores goals for a side in the top half.

It looks too late now, but I fear for what will happen because the existing squad would struggle badly in the competitive Championship.
