POLICE have launched an investigation after a man's body was found at a Hampshire sports centre.
Police and paramedics were called to the Gang Warily complex in Newlands Road, Blackfield, just before 10.30am yesterday.
Witnesses said one of the two lakes at the 50-acre centre was cordoned off.
Last night a police spokesman said: "We were called at 10.26am following the discovery of a man's body at Gang Warily recreation ground.
"The death is being treated as unexplained but not suspicious at this time. Enquiries remain ongoing."
Gang Warily was closed yesterday because of the holidays.
Facilities include squash courts, a fitness suite, football and rugby pitches and a multi-purpose sports hall.
