A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent after an incident in a New Forest town.
Two months ago police said they wanted to speak to Martin Williams following a serious assault which left a man fighting for his life in Lymington.
Officers launched an attempted murder investigation following the incident in Lower Buckland Road at around 3.30am on October 31.
A 30-year-old man from Milford-on-Sea was taken to hospital with serious injuries and 42-year-old man from Lymington was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. He was later bailed.
Today, Hampshire Police said they have arrested a 45-year-old man from Brockenhurst on suspicion of wounding with intent. He is currently in police custody.
