TWO men were hurt during a brawl in a railway station car park, police say.

Officers were called to Parkstone train station in Ashley Cross last week after a fight between two groups of men.

Neither of those injured wanted to make a complaint to police.

However, officers issued a number of those involved with section 35 dispersal notices and warned them to keep away from the area for the rest of the night.

A spokesperson from Dorset Police said: "We were called to reports of a fight involving two groups of men in the car park of Parkstone Railway in Station Road.

"Two men sustained head injuries. Officers have spoken to both of these men and neither wish to make a complaint regarding the incident.

"Section 35 dispersal notices were issued to some individuals preventing them from returning to the area.

"No arrests were made."

Officials warned Poole police's 'Operation Nightwatch' will run throughout the Christmas period.

"The public should expect to see an enhanced presence in the areas of Ashley Cross, Poole Quay and Poole Bus Station," the spokesperson said.
