THE LINDSAY Bupa Care Home will be supporting Hope For Food, a Bournemouth based charity, during the festive season.
They will be offering free haircuts and free festive meals to homeless people at St Andrew’s Church.
General Manager at The Lindsay, Claudia Carvell said: "Both staff and residents are passionate about giving back to the community, so this is something we thought it was important to do, particularly at this time of the year."
She added: "Supporting local charities is really beneficial for residents and helps to make them feel that they are still a part of the community. It not only helps those in need, but also brings the community closer together."
The Lindsay will also be taking donations for sleeping bags, warm, waterproof clothing, sanitary products, and toiletries such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap and wet wipes.
Drop off donations are welcome at Lindsay Road in Poole until December 15.
People are welcome to donate at any time.
