OFFICERS investigating an attempted distraction burglary at the home of a vulnerable man have issued CCTV images of two people they would like to speak with.

The two men gained access to the home in Wellington Road, Bournemouth, by claiming the occupier needed to pay them money to fix his floor.

Once inside they searched the address, even rifling through the homeowner's drawers.

It is understood they left empty-handed.

Police community support investigator Steph Garner, of Bournemouth police, said: "We are carrying out an investigation into this matter and have obtained CCTV footage of the suspects.

“Although it is believed the men were trying to hide their faces from the CCTV camera, I am hopeful someone will be able to recognise them and would urge anyone with information as to their identity to please contact us.”

The incident took place around 10.40am on Friday, November 29.

Dorset Police only released the footage yesterday. (Dec 13)
