CCTV footage of two men has been released after a 'series of frauds' at plumbing merchants in Dorset.

Police were called after an incident at J&B's Ltd in Brook Road, Wimborne at 2.15pm on Monday, November 11.

Two people chose a number of items worth a total of £717.46 before entering card details into a machine and signing a receipt.

The transaction was later stopped by a bank, meaning the business was left out of pocket.

Police Community Support Investigator Steve Willis, of East Dorset police, said further enquiries revealed other plumbing merchants in the area had experienced similar incidents.

Descriptions of the men involved match those given in the J&B's Ltd incident.

"We are continuing to make enquiries into this incident and have made efforts to identify these two men who were captured on CCTV," PCSI Willis said.

“These have so far been unsuccessful."
