PEPPA PIG is preparing for the big day at the spectacular Paultons Park Christmas event.

Visitors can enjoy a world of twinkling illumination and seasonal music at the ever-popular theme park, which includes Peppa Pig World.

The park, just off the M27, is open on selected dates from now until Christmas.

Not only will little ones get the chance to meet Santa, they can also watch seasonal shows while the grown ups tuck into festive cakes and hot punch.

And a winter visit to Paultons also offers a great chance to ride some of the attraction's biggest rides without having to wait in long queues.

While many of the big rides are closed for the winter, there's still the chance to soar above the park on The Pterosaur and the Velociraptor.

And Peppa Pig World is definitely open for business.

Families can enjoy Santa’s Grotto, as they join a reindeer on his journey to find Santa in time for Christmas Eve. Along the way, children will meet many of the reindeer’s animal friends, discover magical scenes and be greeted by Father Christmas himself at the magical grotto.

Bookings to see the man himself must be made in advance.

Children can visit the park’s state-of-the-art 4D Show Street Cinema for a screening of the new and exciting adventure film, The House of Magic. Join Thunder, an adventurous young ginger cat who stumbles into the strangest house imaginable whilst seeking protection from an approaching storm.

Peppa Pig World has been transformed as Peppa Pig and George wrap up in their winter scarves, hats and coats.

The park is also gearing up for the opening of its major new world of attractions - Tornado Springs - in May next year.

Construction continues in earnest and visitors can get a glimpse of the spectacular new rollercoaster, Storm Chaser.
