A BURGER restaurant in Bournemouth will be giving out free food to people in need on Sunday.
The owners of Baia Baia in Holdenhurst Road said it was their way of giving back to the town and hoped to hold similar events again in the future.
Event organiser Monica Misle said: “We want to do this at least once a quarter for people in need.
“It’s our way of saying thank you to everyone who has supported us since we opened and giving something back to Bournemouth.
"Hopefully this will be of some help to those who need it - particularly at this time of year."
She said they would welcome anyone "in need of cheering up".
In August the restaurant was named the third best place in Dorset to get a burger by Daily Echo readers.
People will be able to collect food from the Holdenhurst Road restaurant between 1pm and 2pm on Sunday (December 8).
