THE Glad Rag Production Company is bringing its Christmas Spectacular to the Regent in Christchurch for an eighth sensational year.
Performances will be from Wednesday, December 18 to Tuesday, December 24.
This year’s Christmas Spectacular is set at the North Pole in Santa’s town where his ‘Magic Toy Workshop’ is located. After a year of hard work and preparation, Santa and his merry band of elves decide to throw a party to celebrate another successful Christmas delivering everyone’s presents.
Little do they know that someone is planning to take over Christmas Town! Will Santa’s elves uncover the frosty villain before it’s too late or will everyone end up with a Christmas Spook-tacular!
However, Santa’s little helpers are still in a tangle with all their tinsel, so will Santa be able to save the day in the “nick” of time to conjure up that unique Christmas magic for everyone once again this year?
Glad Rags produced all of the costumes for the 2017 production of Elf: The Musical, which was performed at the Theatre Royal in Plymouth and then at The Lowry in Salford starring Liverpool chart topper Liz McClarnon.
There will be seven evening shows at 7pm to choose from on Wednesday 18, Thursday 19, Friday 20, Saturday 21, Sunday 22, Monday 23 and Tuesday 24 December. There will also be four matinees at 2pm on Saturday 21, Sunday 22, Monday 23 and Tuesday 24 December.
