A ROAD in Poole is closed this morning due to a burst water main.
Wessex Water is carrying out emergency repairs to the main in Arne Avenue in Branksome.
In a message to customers on the Wessex Water website, the firm says: "We’re investigating an issue with the water supply in your area and aim to resolve this as quickly as possible.
"We apologise for any inconvenience.
"When supplies are restored, you may experience discoloured water."
Wessex Water is also carrying out works in Herbert Avenue from today.
The work is to finish on Monday, December 9.
Wessex Water said: "There may be some traffic disruption and we apologise for any inconvenience."
The work in Herbert Avenue is affecting the Morebus number 16 and 17 services.

Service 17 outbound: to serve the length of Herbert avenue and turn left at the lights picking up normal route at alder road parade. Same for inbound 1/2
2/2 Service 16 outbound: to serve Herbert avenue as far as northmere road then turn left into northmere road. then resume normal route from alder crescent. Same for inbound. Apologies for the inconvenience ^DP
