IT’S beginning to look a lot like Christmas – or at least it was at Upton Country Park this morning.

Dozens of runners dressed in their best festive outfits braved the bitter weather for the charity Santa Dash, raising money for the Lewis-Manning Hospice.

Children, adults and even dogs wearing red hats and jumpers joined together at the start line before racing through the muddy tracks.

One of the runners, Sasha Green, of Upton, said: "It's always good to get festive in the build up to Christmas, so why not raise money at the same time?"

At the finish line, all participants were awarded a medal and a minced pie.

Funds to Lewis-Manning Hospice will help support patients and families in Poole, Bournemouth and the surrounding areas who are facing a life-limiting illness.
