Here our five top stories from the business pages of the Daily Echo this week.
1. The Dorset Business Awards took place at the BIC on Thursday – and there’s a fair chance that a company you know was represented.
2. Which companies are the most popular with their workers? We reported on a survey which put some Dorset names among the very best.
3. This one was really popular: the JP Morgan apprentice who is having a “remarkable impact”.
4. A list of the mid-sized businesses having the best success at exporting included several Dorset names, including Farrow & Ball.
5. And in an area where many more people have a Nationwide account than in most of the country, we looked at the reasons the building society saw a plunge in profits.
