FIRE services performed a 'rescue from height' on a Poole man who was 'stuck by the head from a window' at a building in Sterte Road late on Friday.

A spokesman for Dorset & wilts Fire said the man was rescued using small tools and 'handed over to police'.

Dorset Police confirmed they were called at 11.41pm to a report of a disturbance on Sterte Road. They refused to confirm the man's name or the exact address of the building.

"During the incident, it was reported that a man had become stuck in a window of an address," said a spokesman. "The fire service attended to release the man. There were no injuries reported."
