A DRIVER failed a drugwipe test for cocaine while on the school run, police say.
Officers from Dorset Police’s No Excuse Team received information that a driver of a vehicle was taking cocaine daily before picking her and other people’s children up from school.
On Wednesday, the team said they located a vehicle in Bournemouth on the school run. They claim the driver admitted taking cocaine prior to being stopped by police. The driver failed a drugwipe having tested positive for cocaine, according to officers.
A Dorset Police spokesman said a 39-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of drug driving and released under investigation while enquiries continue. A No Excuse Team spokesman said information received is taken seriously and any details relating to suspected drink or drug driving should be reported at dorset.police.uk/do-it-online/
