DOG-friendly marketing agency Intergage is helping Dolly the Pug and her friends to find loving new homes by supporting Dorset rescue charity Waggy Tails.

Intergage has raised £863 from its profit share to help Waggy Tails, its adopted charity for 2019/2020, and are organising a charity bake-off and volunteering their marketing skills to help Waggy Tails with its online fundraising.

The charity's Chairman Ginny Roberts and Vice-Chairman Myra Riches brought one of Dolly’s friends, Ross the Lurcher, to Intergage’s Poole office to meet the team and collect the cheque.

Ginny thanked Intergage and said: “It’s great, to have this help is absolutely wonderful!”

Co-ordinating the Intergage team on the Waggy Tails project is digital marketing manager Nicky Williams.

She said: "We're all dog lovers here at Intergage, which is why we chose Waggy Tails as our charity of the year.”

“It's so great to know we are making a difference to these dogs’ lives through our fundraising and digital marketing efforts."

The Intergagers made a huge fuss of Ross and were delighted to hear that Waggy Tails has found him a lovely new home.

Although Ross has been lucky to find an owner, more of Dolly’s friends including Pickle the Jack Russell and Darcy and Lola, a pair of loveable Chihuahuas are still looking for their forever home.

Waggy Tails provides a much-needed lifeline for rescue dogs and various other animals, including rabbits.

Growing demand means the charity is rapidly outgrowing its premises in Magna Road, Canford Magna and is now on the lookout for a new home.

The charity are always looking for adopters, fosterers and volunteers, along with donations of money or dog food to help keep its rescue operations running.
