MULTI award-winning artist Katie Melua will be heading to Bournemouth this time next year as part of an extensive 45-date tour. Tickets go on sale on Friday, November 22 next week at 10am.

The announcement of the UK and Eire 2020 tour coincides with news of her Live In Concert album featuring the Gori Women’s Choir. The choir first worked with Katie on the silver-certified 2016 album In Winter.

Whether performing with her band or on her own with just her guitar, Katie's voice is instantly recognisable.

She first found fame back in the summer of 2003 as an 18-year-old singer-songwriter and went on to become a household name and has a raft of awards to her name.

Born in the Georgian city of Kutaisi, Katie and her family emigrated to Belfast when she was nine years old. She has released seven studio albums to date and is one of the UK’s highest-selling female recording artists of all time.

In a previous interview she said: "I've always loved performing live, it is a perk of the job' although it really doesn't seem like work. Without wanting to sound cheesy, it is always great to come back home and play in Britain."
