Remembering the Regent Theatre, Poole, which was opened in 1926 as a theatre.
In 1931 it became a full time cinema and known as the Regent Cinema, this closed in 1968.
The building spent its last years as the Regent Bingo Club until 1977 when it was demolished to make way for Poole's Arndale Centre.
This photo of the theatre was taken in 1977 and to place where the theatre would be today you can see the George Hotel in the far right corner.
