A MAN was battered in a brawl outside a kebab shop in Wimborne earlier this month.

Police were called to a fight outside the Wimborne Kebab House in Eastbrook Row at 1.15am on Saturday, November 2.

A man in his 30s had been badly beaten. It is reported that he was punched and kicked in the head when he was on the ground.

The man was taken to hospital and treated for a broken nose, as well as cuts and bruises to his face, chest and back.

A 19-year-old Ferndown man and a woman aged in her 30s from Wimborne were also reportedly assaulted during the incident. Both sustained minor injuries.

Police say three man ran off when officers arrived.

Following a search of the town centre, an 18-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm. He has since been released under investigation.
