STAFF at a Bournemouth play centre stopped a man from leaving with a handful of cash and made him put the money back down, police say.
Officers have released a CCTV image of a man they want to talk to after the incident, which happened at Giggle 4 Kids in Elliott Road, West Howe at 3.20pm on Sunday, October 27.
Police say the man was leaving the centre when he noticed a quantity of cash on a shelf near the exit.
He snatched the money before attempting to leave. However, he'd been spotted taking the cash by a staff member who challenged the man and prevented him from leaving until he gave the money back.
Police Community Support Investigator Martin Young, of Bournemouth police, called for anyone with information to contact him via dorset.police.uk or by calling 101, quoting occurrence number 55190169707.
