RINGWOOD Parish Church will hold its first Christmas Tree Festival this December.
Local businesses, schools and community groups have been invited to get into the festive spirit by contributing a tree to the festival, set to launch on Thursday December 5.
They are being asked to decorate trees to reflect what they do and they can also display a sign alongside their tree to promote themselves to those who attend.
All are welcome to attend the festival, which will be open from Thursday December 5 until Sunday December 8.
Entry will cost £2.50 for adults and all accompanied children go free, with all proceeds supporting church funds.
The main event will be a special late night opening on Friday December 6, with carols and refreshments until 8pm. There will also be a competition for the best dressed tree.
Church Warden Jacqueline Brown said: "Christmas is a great time for the community to come together, and the Parish Church is at the heart of the community. We are fortunate to have so many supportive local businesses providing vital services. We hope to see as many people from Ringwood and the surrounding area rally together and put on a real spectacle."
