A BOURNEMOUTH based taxi fleet are to support Hope for Food this December by providing a drop off location for unwanted clothes for the homeless.

PRC Streamline Taxis are supporting Hope For Food with this appeal until 25th November 2019 when all donations must be in.

Members of the public can drop off unused or unwanted items of clothing, including coats, hats, gloves and scarves, the taxi firm’s office located in Bournemouth Triangle.

Conor Poulton, PR & Events Manager of PRC Streamline Taxis, said: “We first came across Hope For Food through a recent Facebook campaign.

“After a discussion with the senior management team at PRC Streamline Taxis, we decided that we wanted to assist the charity Hope for Food and the outcome was for us to provide a drop-off point for the items as well as work with our client base, staff and drivers to raise awareness.

PR Streamline Taxis will also be providing a member or two to assist with local soup kitchens to help provide warm meals for those less fortunate.

Staff at Hoburne Holiday Parks have already contributed sacks-worth of clothes to the cause.

Conor continues: “We are extremely proud to be working with Hoburne Group on this Campaign. Hope For Food is working with many other businesses including: The Village Hotel Bournemouth, Eden Funerals and ALL Bournemouth Libraries, to name a few.

“PRC Streamline Taxis operates in Bournemouth, Poole, Christchurch, Wimborne and Ferndown 24/7 365 days a year meaning our Bournemouth Office is open 24/7 so all donations of items are welcome and will be gratefully received.”
