A HOSPITAL porter was found dead on his bed after neighbours noticed a smell coming from his flat.
The body of Stuart Dunford, 58, of Cornish Gardens, Bournemouth was discovered at his home on Wednesday October 16, Dorset Coroner Rachael Griffin was told.
A Bournemouth inquest heard that Mr Dunford, a single man, had not been seen for eight or nine days so neighbours alerted police.
Inquiries concluded there are no suspicious circumstances or third party involvement in Mr Dunford's death.
A post mortem examination has been carried out but the cause of Mr Dunford's death remains unascertained.
The inquest was adjourned until June 12 next to allow for further inquiries to be carried out.
