HORTON Road was closed for several hours this morning after a three-vehicle crash.
One person has been seriously hurt in the collision, which closed the stretch 200 metres from Horton village towards Wimborne.
The crash happened around half-a-mile from the Horton Inn.
It involved a Ford Transit, a BMW and a Renault mixing lorry. One woman was taken to hospital with injuries that are serious but not life-threatening.
The road remained shut after the collision to allow contamination and liquid to be cleared from the carriageway.
A spokesperson from Dorset Police said: "We were called at 7.25am to reports of a three-vehicle collision.
"Fire and ambulance are also at the scene.
"Closures are in place at the junction with the B3078.
"One person has been taken to hospital. The extent of the casualty's injuries isn't yet clear.
"Recovery trucks are at the scene."
