EMERGENCY services will this morning continue to search for a man who was swept into the sea in West Dorset at the weekend.
Police were called at 2.55pm yesterday, Sunday after the man was dragged off the beach near the Freshwater Beach Holiday Park in Bridport.
He had been walking along the beach with a woman when a wave swept them both out to sea.
The woman made it back to shore and was treated by the ambulance service.
A spokesperson from Dorset Police said officers have been carrying out "extensive searches" assisted by HM Coastguard, the NPAS helicopter and the ambulance service.
