EMERGENCY services attended a two-vehicle crash on the A338 Spur Road on Sunday morning.
The crash happened on the northbound carriageway between the Cooper Dean Roundabout and the Ashley Heath Roundabout.
The road was blocked.
A Dorset Police spokesperson said they were called at 8.32am.
The spokesperson said: "The local authority have been tasked regarding fuel and debris on the road.
South Western Ambulance Service said they were called at 8.28am and attended with two ambulances.
One person was taken to Poole Hospital.
The extent of their injuries is not known.
Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said they were called to reports of a four-vehicle crash by the ambulance service at 8.37am.
They attended with one fire engine from Springbourne and another from Christchurch.
No one was trapped in the vehicles.
A broken down vehicle was also being reported at the same location.
